As part of the Programme for South-South Cooperation, an innovative reciprocal project has already started in the three partner countries and it will be led by Costa Rica. The purpose of this project is to learn how to grow insects and mushrooms for human consumption.
Approximately, 50 experts from Benin, Bhutan and Costa Rica will be participating in this project. This learning process will help teaching scientists and farmers about the benefits of producing this “new” type of food and how to do it.
