› Officials and farmer representatives from Bhutan visited Costa Rica to learn about sustainable production systems

Participants from Bio Bhutan reached Costa Rica on the 22nd of May, 2010. Bio Bhutan’s partner ACICAFOC in San Jose, represented by Miss Maria Ruth Martinez Rodriguez accompanied the group during the whole of the eight days study tour.
Participants visited ACICAFOC, Funde Cooperation Office in San Jose. Visited organic farming sites and farms with farmer representatives of ASCOMAFOR, ASOMAG and ASOPROLA. Exchanged ideas and shared knowledge on the methods and practices of organic farming.
Participants were also taught techniques and processes of soap and shampoo making by a professor from a University.
