› Technology and exchange visit between Bhutan and Costa Rica

The Costa Rican team comprising of project coordinator, livestock researcher and ICT counterpart visited Bhutan. The purpose of visit was to exchange technology in Bio digester and silage making from Costa Rica to Bhutan and to integrate the VERCON-PLATICAR platform. The extension agents and researchers from the research centre in Bajo, Wangdue were trained in portable silage making and the researchers and extension agents from research centre in Jakar were trained in building low cost bio digester for supplies of low cost energy for lighting, cooking, heating and the by-products as organic manure.
